The Tenants is a premium simulation game for PC from developer Ancient Forge Studio. It is a city-builder sim wherein players take on the role of a landlord who owns multiple buildings. They will need to manage and meet the needs of their tenants as they establish their real estate empire.

Compared to The Sims 4, The Tenants features polygon graphics like Two Point Campus, making for a cartoonish presentation. When it comes to the gameplay, it has players focusing more on interactions with the tenant characters to ensure proper business relations are maintained and kept problem-free.

Being a landlord

Getting into real estate ownership can be a lucrative venture that can open up a lot of opportunities. As with any business, it comes with its own set of hurdles and challenges in the form of dealing with your tenants. Of course, you will need to make your properties marketable in the first place, so you will also need to redesign floor layouts or redecorate and refurbish them to be more appealing to potential tenants. As you play, just bear in mind that the game is still in early access. As such, there are still plenty of changes, additions, and fixes to be made as the updates roll in.
