City building and management game

The Tenants is a premium simulation game for PC from developer Ancient Forge Studio. It is a city-builder sim wherein players take on the role of a landlord who owns multiple buildings. They will need to manage and meet the needs of their tenants as they establish their real estate empire.

Compared to The Sims 4, The Tenants features polygon graphics like Two Point Campus, making for a cartoonish presentation. When it comes to the gameplay, it has players focusing more on interactions with the tenant characters to ensure proper business relations are maintained and kept problem-free.

Being a landlord

Getting into real estate ownership can be a lucrative venture that can open up a lot of opportunities. As with any business, it comes with its own set of hurdles and challenges in the form of dealing with your tenants. This is exactly the premise that The Tenants is going on as it has you play the landlord who has to manage your building properties across the city.

In this game, you own multiple buildings across the city that you rent out to various clients for residential or commercial purposes. From occupants with overdue payments to businesses with specific construction requests, it will be up to you to meet their needs. The same goes when facing complaints from neighbors or when the police get involved in a situation that requires careful handling.

Of course, you will need to make your properties marketable in the first place, so you will also need to redesign floor layouts or redecorate and refurbish them to be more appealing to potential tenants. As you play, just bear in mind that the game is still in early access. As such, there are still plenty of changes, additions, and fixes to be made as the updates roll in.

Build your real estate empire

If you like city-building games like The Sims series, The Tenants is a fun and interesting alternative to consider if you're looking for something new to try out. The graphics are quite distinct but no less good, and the gameplay will keep you on your toes, with so many things to do and people to track. Hopefully, the full game gets released soon.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
